November 2011 - Rino Snaidero Scientific Foundation Annual Conference "Smart City, Smart Home"
It renews the annual meeting of the Rino Snaidero Scientific Foundation Conference on "Smart City, Smart Home". The event, which will be held in Majano (UD) Saturday, November 19th 2011, will focus on cities and homes of the future, looking for a solution to make them more livable and more tailored to the needs and expectations of people.
An event that will present scenarios where the capacity for innovation is transformed to combine smart growth, sustainability and social cohesion.
Among the participants at the conference, will take the engineer Edi Snaidero (Snaidero Rino SpA President), Prof. Christian Companion (Rector of the Univ. Udine), Hon. Renzo Tondo (President of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia), Ezio Andreta (Promotion Agency of the European Research President), Prof. Eduardo De Oliveira Fernandes (Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto), Prof. Roberto Pagani Arch (Faculty of Architecture, Polytechnic of Turin).

June 2011 - MEDIASTUDIO AT POLO TECNOLOGICO DI PORDENONE
Friday June 10 2011 at 17:00pm, with the special presence of the Minister of Education Mariastella Gelmini, accompanied by the President of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia Renzo Tondo, will inaugurate the new headquarters of the Technological Pole of Pordenone.
A technologically advanced facility designed to enhance the culture of innovation and research, involving major companies and research centers with different competences. MediaStudio decided to take the lead in the "start" of this important project, holding an active collaboration with Polo Tecnologico, chaired by Michelangelo Agrusti, under the direction of the engineer Franco Scolari.
MediaStudio will operate within the structure with a new office: a place to put their expertise available to design a network and develop exciting new collaborations.

May 2011 - PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT LAK - LIVING FOR ALL KITCHEN
Friday 20 May 2011 at 16.00pm at Confindustria Udine was presented the project LAK - living for all kitchen.
LAK is a project of industrial research and experimental development co-funded by Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia and promoted by a group of 9 companies including Mediastudio, and research centers as SNAIDERO Spa (capofila). Mediastudio will develop a 3D software that represents the real kitchen, where there will be inserted home automation devices developed by the partners (simulator).

On "Design the kitchen of the future" were presented the different possibilities of digital communication 2.0.
In particular the experience of Mediastudio allowed to emphasize the importance of web marketing, social networks and of the union of 3D graphics and automation for the furnishing of tomorrow.
An important event, the fiftieth edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, which has seen Mediastudio involved in the presentation and creation of new forms of digital communication "2.0". Among the innovations introduced by Mediastudio, were particularly popular the applications for iPhone and iPad ("mobile apps") and new forms of interactive communication channels "Social" (first of all Facebook and Youtube).

The seventh round of Ambiente Cucina Day was confirmed as one of the most important events for the industry, able to communicate with its many and various elements of the product kitchen.
Took turns on stage the authoritative and stimulating speeches of some of the greatest experts that have stressed the importance of the change of vision.

The scenario of communication becomes increasingly complex and competitive with the explosion of social networks and Web 2.0. The company must re-design its communication strategy to reach the consumer in this new information jungle.

November 2010 - “Sostenibilità e Abitare”
Convegno annuale Rino Snaidero Scientific Foundation
Sabato 20 novembre si è tenuto a Majano(UD) l’annuale convegno della Rino Snaidero Scientific Foundation. Un’edizione importante incentrata sulla sostenibilità e l’abitare, che ha ottenuto un grande successo grazie alla partecipazione di un pubblico numeroso sia in sala che in Internet attraverso la diretta in streaming.
Nel corso della mattinata si sono susseguiti gli interventi dei più importanti attori qualificati del settore e le autorità locali coinvolte nel progetto.
Hanno aperto il convegno gli interventi del Magnifico Rettore Cristiana Compagno, del Prof. Furio Honsell, dell’On. Pietro Fontanini e dell’On. Renzo Tondo, sottolineando l’impegno delle istituzioni locali per stimolare le aziende all’innovazione. Successivamente l’Ing. Edi Snaidero ha introdotto il lavoro della Fondazione presentando il tema della sostenibilità sotto l’aspetto dell’integrazione: migliorare l’abitare integrando tutti i prodotti che vi partecipano, dall’arredamento alla domotica.
Gli Ingegneri Fanizza e Babuin hanno poi presentato i risultati delle ricerche della Fondazione nel 2010 e i primi prototipi (realizzati dal Creative e Real Team), promuovendo uno sviluppo che riesca a bilanciare i risultati economici con l’impatto sull’ambiente e sul contesto che circonda le aziende.
La seconda parte della mattinata ha visto invece la partecipazione del Prof Mario Abis, di Gianfranco Schiava, Giovanni Anzani e il Prof. Adriano de Maio, estendendo così l’argomento al mondo delle imprese e dei consumi. In questo modo è stata sottolineata l’importanza del 'green', di azioni specifiche da parte delle aziende orientate alla sostenibilità e dell’importanza fondamentale della protezione del consumatore finale. Un evento fondamentale che ha sottolineato ancora una volta come la Fondazione Snaidero stia diventando un punto di riferimento per lo sviluppo dell’innovazione e della sostenibilità nel territorio.
Nella chiusura del convegno sono stati presentati i nuovi membri della Fondazione, compresa MEDIASTUDIO, che intendono partecipare attivamente allo sviluppo di questo tipo di ricerca: mettendo a disposizione le proprie competenze specifiche e progettando nuove modalità di produzione che siano in linea con gli obiettivi e i principi della Fondazione.

Mediastudio parteciperà alla nuova edizione dello IAB Forum Milano 2010: la più importante rassegna a livello nazionale di eventi sulla comunicazione digitale e interattiva. Il 3 e 4 novembre il MIC (Milano Convention Center) diventerà 'The Web Is', il centro di conferenze, workshop e incontri che faranno della Rete il filo conduttore dell’ultimo IAB Forum.
In questi due giorni all’insegna delle nuove tendenze e innovazioni della comunicazione online, saranno presenti i più importanti esperti italiani e internazionali: da Chris Anderson (direttore di Wired US) a Domenico De Masi (sociologo dei nuovi media). Mediastudio attended to IAB Forum Milan 2009, the main exhibition in Italy on interactive communication. The 2009 edition was full of events about the 'relations between innovation and Internet' for the italian companies.
In two intense days Guy Phillipson (Ceo IAB Uk) showed how online advertising surpassed Tv advertising in the UK. Two Web communication guru were the true stars of the exhibition: Lars Rasmussen (co-founder and Software Engineering Manager 'Google Wave') and David Weinberger (Harvard Berkman Center for Internet & Society).

The 4th edition of Pordenone's ZOW has closed with more than 16.000 visitors. At the end of the fourth day of manifestation, with more than 5000 visitors and a visitors increase of more than 20% from last year.
It's rilevant that it has been established as an international exhibition. More than 70 different countries was presented at ZOW, representing the 20% of the whole.

29th December 1996 - Special Mention Lionello Stock Prize for Milvio Zaccariotto
It has benn assigned in Trieste the Lionello Stock Prize (1996), established by the descendants of the well-known businessman and reserved to young businessmen.
It's the first assignation of the 'Lionello Stock' prize in memory of the businessman of Trieste.
Lionello, was born in 1866 and died in 1948, he was a classic model of a "non-self-made man" and starter of the company that produces the most famoust and most sold brandy in the world. The jury was comprehended Domenico Romeo(Area Science Park president), Riccardo Illy(Mayor of Trieste and known businessman in coffe industry), Renzo Piccini(president of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Trieste), Andrea Pittini(president of Associazione degli Industriali del Friuli Venezia Giulia) and Marco Strassolo(headmaster of the University of Udine).The jury has reserved a special mention for "the innovative quality of his business activity" to Milvio Zaccariotto, owner of Mediastudio srl.

It renews the annual meeting of the Rino Snaidero Scientific Foundation Conference on "Smart City, Smart Home". The event, which will be held in Majano (UD) Saturday, November 19th 2011, will focus on cities and homes of the future, looking for a solution to make them more livable and more tailored to the needs and expectations of people.
Friday, November 11 2011 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at the Area Science Park in Trieste, will be held the workshop "Comparing experiences of accessibility and usability" as part of the LAK project.
