ENJOY Pordenone with SICAM 2024
From 15 to 18 October 2024, the city of Pordenone will host Enjoy Pordenone with SICAM, a series of side events at the 15th edition of SICAM (International Exhibition of Components, Semi-finished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry). This year's show will feature 500 exhibitors' booths, 68% of them representing “Made in Italy” and 32% from Germany, Turkey, Austria, Spain and various other countries around the world, for a total of nearly 700 companies present, on 20 thousand square meters of exhibition space.
The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Pordenone, aims to complement the fair programme with a rich calendar of activities highlighting local excellence, giving participants an all-round experience. The city will welcome visitors to the fair with a series of widespread initiatives that will touch on various areas: art, food and wine, music and shows.
The inauguration will be held on Tuesday 15 October 2024 at 5.30 p.m. with a visit to the "Magnum sul Set" exhibition with a concert at the Harry Bertoia Gallery in Pordenone.
Art and Culture: exhibitions and extraordinary openings
For the occasion, many museums and galleries in Pordenone will offer extraordinary openings and free exhibitions for SICAM visitors. The Bertoia Gallery, the Palazzo Ricchieri Art Museum and the PAFF! International Museum of Comic Art in Villa Galvani are among the main cultural protagonists. The exhibitions will range from contemporary art shows to photographic exhibitions by emerging and international artists, thus offering a broad and diverse overview of the visual arts.
Food and Wine: discovering local specialities
One of the central elements of the event will be the promotion of Friuli Venezia Giulia's food and wine excellence. Numerous bars and restaurants will offer themed happy hours, ad hoc menus and tastings of typical products, accompanied by carefully selected wines. This celebration of local specialities represents an important showcase for local products, promoting not only food and wine, but also local culture and tradition.
Music and Entertainment: events for all tastes
Music and entertainment will be another great protagonist of Enjoy Pordenone with SICAM. Every evening, venues in the city centre will host live concerts and DJ sets, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere.
To facilitate participation in the events, the organisers have provided a free shuttle service with bilingual guides that will connect the fairground with the city centre. Info points located throughout the city and inside the exhibition centre will provide all the necessary information on the events and services available.
Enjoy Pordenone with SICAM is not only an opportunity to explore the latest trends in the world of components for the furniture industry, but also to immerse yourself in the culture, art and flavours of Friuli Venezia Giulia. This event enriches the offer of SICAM, transforming Pordenone into a welcoming and lively city, able to amaze and entertain industry professionals, citizens and tourists.
With a constantly evolving programme, Enjoy Pordenone promises to be an unmissable experience, capable of combining business and entertainment in a unique context.
