How technology and home automation can improve our lives
EASYMOB LAK RE-FREEDOM the three industrial research projects in the domotic field for innovative solutions that promote social inclusion, allowing a greater margin of autonomy for the elderly and the disabled. The companies involved in the LAK project led by SNAIDERO, with the University of Udine, the Rino Snaidero Scientific Foundation, Friuli Innovation, Area Science Park, Mediastudio, Teletronica and Sipro.
The practical goal of LAK is to create an equipped kitchen environment that is able to respond to different needs: comfort, safety, ergonomics, energy saving, adaptability and socialization, in a design-for-all logic. The main focus of the LAK kitchen is social inclusion, guaranteed by an intelligent implementation of the best available technologies to facilitate interaction in the kitchen environment by all the members of the family, from children to the elderly. External audio-video interaction systems, domotic functions, touch screen interfaces, overhead and door automation systems, air quality control functions and monitoring systems for energy and water consumption are just a few examples of countless components of the LAK project. Connectivity systems with cloud computing technology will allow the LAK kitchen to communicate with the outside for shopping, book a theater or a taxi, for maintenance requests and more
