It's official: the new Pordenone Fiere App has been released.

On September 9, at PAFF (Palazzo Arti Fumetto Friuli), Pordenone Fiere unveiled several significant innovations aimed at improving the experience for both visitors and exhibitors, and strengthening ties with the local community.
During the event, President Renato Pujatti revealed initiatives designed to make the company more inclusive and accessible, positioning it as a benchmark in the trade show industry.
Among the most notable innovations was the launch of a new website with a modern interface designed to be accessible to people with disabilities. Solutions adopted to improve digital accessibility include audio and visual content alternative to text, color schemes that make reading easier, and simplified navigation for voice-controlled devices. These updates represent an important step forward in ensuring an inclusive experience for all users.

Another important new feature, in order to provide a complete and innovative digital experience and facilitate access to all the resources needed to best participate in each fair, the new Pordenone Fiere App, (copyright & developed by MEDIASTUDIO), was presented and officially released on December 16th. This application is designed to improve the exhibitor experience by providing content and services in a quick and intuitive way, as well as allowing easy access to all information about events, fairs and exhibitions on the calendar. It also allows exhibitor participation to be managed directly via smartphone.
Exhibitors have the ability to manage their booth, update data and request services such as set-up, furnishings and catering directly from their exhibition space, while also being able to quickly contact Pordenone Fiere staff for assistance.

In addition, the system will be able to automatically monitor wait times, allowing reminders or push notifications to be sent to update exhibitors on their requests in real time. This App places Pordenone Fiere in a pioneering position within the Italian trade show landscape, as to date there is no similar system of interaction between trade shows and exhibitors and service.

All this management then is governed through the CRM in use by the Pordenone Fiere managers (Administrators) who through the dashboard have full control of all services, from requests for action, to reminders to the services who are in charge of processing requests for action and closing the request (via their smartphones).
So every action and notification, is monitored on the CRM dashboard in real time.

During the event, a new exhibition project was also presented, “104 The Caregiving Expo”, which will take place May 8-10, 2025.

This expo will represent the first event in Europe entirely dedicated to the caregiving sector, serving as a meeting point for professionals in the field and the public, with the intention of improving the quality of life of the most fragile people, including a cultural and scientific program aimed at addressing challenges and innovations in the field of caregiving.

During the presentation of the 104 Caregiving Expo project, Regional Councillor for Infrastructure and Territory, Cristina Amirante, emphasized how the attention paid to the accessibility of communication tools makes Pordenone Fiere a model for many other productive activities in the area to follow. The councilor also highlighted the intention to replicate this initiative in other regional realities.
Also speaking at the event was Guglielmina Cucci, City Councillor for Social Policies, who stressed the importance of an innovation that marks a transition from welfarism to the centrality of the person, with full respect for the rights of those who need assistance and the family members who provide it. “This is a service that deserves to be recognized,” the councilor said.

One of the most surprising new features was the introduction of Fiero, the new mascot of Pordenone Fiere created by Pordenone cartoonist Emanuele Barison, known for his work for “Mickey Mouse” and “TEX.” Fiero is a nice hippo who represents the fair's values of inclusiveness and cooperation. Not only will he be the symbol of Pordenone Fiere in communications, but he will also have a charitable purpose: a line of merchandise, including puppets, T-shirts and other gadgets, will be offered for sale during the events, with proceeds going to the CRO Aviano Onlus Foundation to support cancer research.

The mascot is being honored with a two-meter-tall sculpture, created by artist Giorgio Pasut, which will greet visitors at the entrance to the fair. “This project blends entertainment and solidarity, promoting the fair and supporting scientific research,” said President Pujatti, expressing gratitude to Emanuele Barison for offering Fiero's image free of charge to this important charity initiative.
